In keeping with the library's mission statement, the Reference Department is committed to providing a wide range of services to the community. The Reference librarians are always available during the library hours for assistance.
Our collections, both traditional and electronic, contain a wide range of up-to-date reference materials including: college guides, Federal School Codes, newspapers, journals, Bayonne City Directories, and digitized obituaries of Bayonne residents from 1960-2002 (more years will be added in the course of time). The Library's archive offers an array of Bayonne-related materials consisting of old maps, pictures, postcards, military history, oral history of Bayonne veterans, and much more.
