Music CDs may be checked out for two weeks. You must have an Adult or Young Adult card to borrow CDs.
DVDs:
Our DVD collection contains many adult and children’s movies. You must be over 18 to borrow a DVD and DVDs can only be borrowed on an Adult card.
To check out a DVD, please look through the titles and bring the sleeve to the Art & Music desk. Our newer DVDs are located in the front of the room on a bookshelf. DVDs may be checked out for two business days.
Databases:
Teen Health and Wellness - This database offers expert-reviewed content about important research, health, technology, science, the environment, and society. There is also information about recent developments in AI technology, including chatbots, image generators, large language models, and more. It also provides information about social media anxiety, including information overload, FOMO (Fear of Missing Out), self-esteem, and other mental health impacts.
It also includes "The Calm Room", a virtual place to chill out! It includes calming “visual relaxation” videos (“rolling waves”, “forest walk”, etc.), “Sounds and music” (“cat purring”, “falling rain”, etc.), guided mindfulness meditations, live animal webcams, and hotline resources. Plus...it has virtual bubble wrap!
