The Bayonne Public Library provides daily access to print and digital newspapers.
Print Newspapers:
In the library, patrons can read print copies of The New York Times or The Wall Street Journal in our Reference Room.
***Please note that The Star Ledger has switched to digital only and The Jersey Journal and The Bayonne Community News are no longer in print.***
Patrons can also take home a free physical copy each month of BookPage, which is available at our Circulation and Reference Desks.
Digital Newspapers (Online Access):
To access our digital newspapers, you will need your 14-digit Bayonne Public Library card number. This number can be found on the back of your library card. Please enter your number with NO spaces. You will receive an error message if your card is expired or if you enter the number with spaces.

The New York Times
Get access from at home and in the library to The New York Times All Access, including News, Games, Cooking, Wirecutter, The Athletic and all New York Times apps. The access code will give you 24 hours of access. Click the below link, click "Redeem", click "Continue". The Wall Street Journal
Get access from at home and in the library to The Wall Street Journal. The link below will give you 3 consecutive days of access. You will need to log-in or register with The Wall Street Journal in order to use this subscription.
**Please note that you are not permitted to share your WSJ log-in credentials with any other person. Sharing credentials can result in the library having its access revoked!**

The Star Ledger
On your computer or mobile device, you can access “America’s News”. This provides access to news from across the country. To specifically access The Star Ledger, please log-in using your library card number and then click the blue “Star-Ledger Collection” button on the right-hand side of the screen. Then click “Star Ledger, The”. From there, you can view current issues, browse by date, or conduct a keyword search. Today’s edition will always be the one on the right in the “View Recent Issues” box.
The Jersey Journal
While The Jersey Journal has stopped printing, you can access back issues through “America’s News”. (See previous paragraph.)
