The Library upgraded the Lab computers with new computers and Story Court computers from the twenty five thousand dollars bequest received from Samuel J. Lashinsky.

The Children’s Room mural Submerged has been completed and was dedicated on August 15, 2007.

To improve our cataloging service the library became member of the OCLC bibliographic database to provide effective and efficient service to our residents.

The library installed lights on the trees in the courtyard to celebrate culture of different ethnic groups of the community.

The Library was a recipient of the Verizon Walk for Literacy grant.  These books will be used by our students who meet at the Library for English as a second Language classes.

Fifteen non-profit organizations meet at the library facility once or twice a month.  Twelve Art exhibits were presented by the library.  The Children’s room presented a special magic show and children’s programming summer and fall season along with regular story hours and arts and craft.
