Summer
Reading Club
Each summer the
Children’s room sponsors a Summer Reading
Club. Children from Kindergarten through
Grade 6, who participate, promise to read a
certain number of books over the course of
the summer. They must come in once a week to
sign their reading logs. When they reach
half of their reading goals they will
receive a prize and when they complete their
reading goals, they will receive their “End
of Summer Reading Club" prize as well.
Children's
Programs - Spring 2013
Parent/Toddler Time
is held on Tuesdays from
10:30 am - 11:00 am and 11:30 am - 12:00 pm.
It is for children 2-3 years old. The
children will hear stories, sing songs and
make a craft. There is registration required
for this program. (A Birth Certificate and
proof of residence).
PARENT
MUST STAY WITH THE CHILD.
Lapsit Program is held on
Wednesdays from 11:00 am - 11:30 am. It is
for children 18 - 24 months old. The
children will hear stories, sing songs and
play with toys. There is NO registration
required for this program. PARENT MUST
STAY WITH THE CHILD.
Story Time is held on Wednesdays
from 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm. This program is for
children ages 3 - 5 years old. The children
will do an arts & craft project, hear
stories and sing songs. There is
registration required for this program. (A
Birth Certificate and proof of residence).
This program is in preparation for
Pre-School. NO PARENT is to stay with
the child, but
MUST
stay in the Library. See
